Shuang Chen

Shuang Chen is a highly skilled professional in AI and data science, currently serving as a Staff AI Scientist for AI Product Engineering at Cedar since November 2025, focusing on cross-functional initiatives to advance conversational voice AI and architect AIOps/MLOps foundations. Prior to Cedar, Shuang was the Director of Applied AI/ML/Data Science at Sightly, where major AI initiatives were led to integrate GenAI technologies and enhance product development. Shuang also held the position of Senior Lead Data Scientist at Sightly, architecting Gen AI applications and fine-tuning large language models for efficient data classification. Earlier experience includes roles at PwC, where Shuang managed client relationships for an AI SaaS product and led teams on compliance analytics for major financial institutions. Shuang holds a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Psychology from NYU Stern School of Business.
