Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technologies. Since July 2010, Chris has been part of a cross-functional team at SMART Technologies, focusing on the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a firmware engineer in the same company, where responsibilities included creating firmware and diagnostic tools. Prior experience includes work as an electronics contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and an electronics engineer at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
