Sean Rivera

Director, Technical Support Engineering at Cedaron Medical

Sean Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sean started their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware in 2013 and later became a Grader for the Introduction to Chemical Engineering course in 2014. In the same year, Sean also worked as a NA Merchant Gases Merchant at Air Products, where they focused on improving website user traffic interface and coordinating website improvements with various industries within the company.

In 2015, Sean served as an Integrated Gases - Process Engineering Intern at Air Products, gaining valuable experience in process engineering. Sean then joined Epic in 2016 as an Integration/Application Engineer, working on Electronic Data Interchange projects and utilizing their interpersonal and communication skills for large joint projects.

Sean joined Cedaron Medical in 2019 as a Technical Support Engineer, providing support to customers. Sean was later promoted to the role of Director, Technical Support Engineering in July 2020, where they continue to lead and manage the technical support team.

Additionally, Sean has worked as a Lifeguard at the Perinton Aquatics Center from 2011 to 2014, showcasing their dedication to ensuring safety.

Sean Rivera attended the University of Delaware from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Prior to that, they attended McQuaid Jesuit High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in May 2018.
