Joyce So

Joyce So is currently the Chief Genomics Officer at Cedars-Sinai, where they also serve as the Medical Director of the Center for Genomic Medicine and Director of the Division of Medical Genetics. Prior to this role, they were a Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the University of Toronto, where they held various appointments in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry. Joyce has a robust background in clinical genetics, having served in several positions including Clinical Geneticist and Medical Geneticist at various hospitals and health networks. They earned their MD from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Max-Planck-Institut für molekulare Genetik/Freie Universität Berlin.
