Ana Lloret holds a degree in Marine Sciences from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and has developed their career at the Centro de Estudios y Experimentación de Obras Públicas (CEDEX) under the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, primarily focusing on coastal and marine studies. They have implemented European Directives regarding marine protection and coordinated numerous environmental studies related to coastal and maritime actions. Ana has served as an advisor to the CEDEX Directorate and as the Director of the R&D Unit, and finished a Master's in Public Management and Leadership from INAP and UIMP in 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of the Center for Studies of Ports and Coasts at CEDEX.
