Laura Magro is the Deputy Director at CEEBIOS, where they manage scientific development and lead projects on bio-inspired materials. They hold a final degree from the École supérieure de Physique et de Chimie industrielles de la Ville de Paris, as well as a Master’s degree in Complex Systems from University Paris VII. Laura has previously completed internships at Schlumberger and Gerflor, and conducted research projects at ESPCI Paris and Université Pierre et Marie Curie, culminating in a PhD focusing on microfluidics for point-of-care diagnostics. Their work has earned multiple patents and publications, and they received the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" award in 2015.
