Head Of Innovation Practice at Cefriel

Armando Beffani has a strong background in leading teams in complex environments and working on innovative solutions. Armando started their career at Cefriel in 2006, where they held the position of Head of Innovation Practice. In this role, they were responsible for the entire innovation lifecycle, including strategic advisory, idea generation, solution design, and business planning. Armando also worked on organizational development, new ventures, and business initiatives. Armando's expertise lies in general management, innovation management, portfolio, program and project management, agile, business analysis, financial analysis, and sustainability.

In addition to their role at Cefriel, Armando also served as the Head of Digital Culture and Transformation Practice, where they provided educational programs and advisory on digital technologies, innovation strategies, and business design. Armando worked closely with organizations to develop people competencies and internal capabilities in areas such as organizational models, processes, tools, and technologies. Armando held this position from 2006 to 2021.

Between 2015 and 2018, Armando also worked at Project Management Institute as a Director at PMI-NIC. Prior to that, they worked at Credito Emiliano as a Risk Manager and Financial Analyst from 2003 to 2005. At Credito Emiliano, they were responsible for a large portfolio of financial funds and other activities related to financial and risk analysis, as well as business evaluation.

Armando Beffani has an extensive education history spanning from 1996 to 2013. Armando attended Politecnico di Milano from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering. During the same period, from 1998 to 2001, Armando also attended CentraleSupélec and obtained a Master's degree in the field of study called "Program TIME – Top Industrial Managers for Europe."

In 2004 and 2005, Armando earned a certification as a Certified Financial Analyst from AIAF. Later, in 2007 and 2008, they pursued a certification in Project Management and became a Certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute.

In 2012, Armando obtained an ITIL Certification in IT Service Management from Quint Group. In 2013, they acquired the CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

Aside from their formal education, Armando has received several additional certifications. These include Innovation Management Advanced from Cefriel, Agile, Digital Business & Culture, Innovation Management, and Project Management - Advanced, all from Bestr. Armando also holds the CAL 1 - Certified Agile Leadership certification from the Scrum Alliance.

Furthermore, in 2017, Armando obtained the Certificazione in Business Analysis UNI 11506 / 11621 from UNI Ente Italiano di Normazione. Prior to that, in 2012, they earned the ITIL Foundation certification from Quint Wellington Redwood. Additionally, Armando holds the PMP - Project Management Professional certification from PMI Northern Italy Chapter, acquired in 2008.

In 2005, Armando obtained both the CEFA - Certified EFFAS European Financial Analyst and the CIIA - Certified ACIIA International Investment Analyst certifications from AIAF Associazione Italiana degli Analisti e Consulenti Finanziari.
