Diego Borro

Main Researcher at Ceit Research Center

Diego Borro is a highly experienced professional in the fields of computer vision, machine vision, and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Main Researcher and Head of the Vision and Robotics research line at Ceit Centro Tecnológico since July 2000. Borro oversees a multidisciplinary lab focused on developing intelligent and automatic systems for industrial applications, and leads about 20 researchers in the Simulation Area. In academia, Borro has held various positions at Tecnun - Universidad de Navarra since 2000, currently serving as an accredited Full Professor, teaching courses related to Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Previous roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, with contributions to courses in computer science and network security. Borro has also gained international experience as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Navarra and an MS in Computer Science from Universidad del País Vasco.
