Alan Mitchell is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer at Celanese, Alan has previously held the position of Vice President and Global Chief Security Officer at Brunswick Corporation and Vice President of Security and Infrastructure, CISO at Hanger, Inc. Alan's background at IBM includes key positions such as Director of IBM Cyber Defense and Director of the IBM CISO Office, as well as Senior Manager and Senior Technical Staff Member. Alan's early career involved roles including Programmer/Network Specialist, Third Party Development Coordinator, and Sales Engineer Technician in various Florida businesses.
