Mark Cooper

Mark Cooper is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law and patent counsel. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Moser Taboada since July 2022, Mark has also held the position of Outside Patent Counsel at Celanese since January 2004. Prior to these roles, Mark was a Partner at Loza & Loza LLP from October 2019 to January 2024, and an Attorney at Cooper & Assoc. from January 2003 to October 2019. Mark's legal career began as an Attorney at Cantor Colburn LLP from 2000 to 2003, following a decade-long tenure as a Chemist at Monsanto Company from 1990 to 2000. Mark holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Houston Law Center (1996-2000) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis (1986-1990), with studies at Saint Louis University School of Law from 1995 to 1996.
