Michael Barnes

Michael Barnes possesses extensive experience in global manufacturing and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Global Manufacturing at Celanese since November 2018. Previously, Michael held several leadership roles at Saint-Gobain Abrasives, including Vice President of Operations for North America, and at Lydall as Senior Vice President of Operations. Michael's career began at Perkins Engines Company Limited and continued at Federal-Mogul Powertrain, progressing through various engineering and management positions. Educational achievements include an MBA from the University of Surrey and an MSc from Brunel University of London, complemented by technical qualifications in engineering from North Lincolnshire College.
