Gideon Tan

Gideon Tan serves as the Head of Learning & Development at CelcomDigi, a position held since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading Axiata Group’s initiative to establish a digital corporate university platform for Celcom and its Southeast and South Asian operating companies, benefiting 12,000 users. Prior to this role, Gideon was General Manager of Human Resources at Tropicana Corporation Berhad for a brief period in 2017, where activities focused on enhancing recruitment practices. From 2007 to 2017, Gideon worked at Resorts World Genting, ultimately as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing talent management, learning and development, and other HR functions. Earlier experience includes consulting roles at Hann Consulting Australia and Deloitte, with a concentration on human capital consultancy and performance assessment. Gideon holds a BBA in Finance and Decision Science & Information Systems from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's Degree from the Metropolitan College’s twinning program.
