John Reid

John Reid is an experienced scientist currently employed at Celcuity since April 2019. Prior to this role, John contributed to biomedical research as a Biomedical Engineering Research Assistant at the Old Dominion University Research Foundation from 2013 to 2018 while also serving as a teaching assistant in various subjects at Old Dominion University. Key contributions include the independent development of a 3D bioprinter with single-cell print resolution and conducting root cause analysis and failure modes and effects analysis using simulation software. John's earlier experience includes working at LifeNet Health as a Musculoskeletal Division Technician, where responsibilities involved manufacturing surgical allografts, and serving as a research assistant in neuroscience at Hampden-Sydney College. John holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College.
