Tom Keefer

Tom Keefer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tom started their career at NASA Langley Research Center in 1991 as a System Administrator, where they worked on program migration and UNIX administration. Tom then joined Sun Microsystems in 1999 as a Systems Engineering Manager. Tom later joined SAS in 2002, where they held various roles such as Marketing Engineer, Senior Systems Engineering Manager, and Principal Solutions Architect. At SAS, they worked on projects related to hardware and software partners and managed benchmark engineers. In 2016, they joined Citi as an IT Business Sr Tech Specialist, focusing on leveraging Big Data technologies to solve business problems. Currently, Tom is the Principal Solutions Architect at D4t4 Solutions Plc, where they build large scale analytic systems in the financial services industry, utilizing the latest analytic and cloud-based technologies.

Tom Keefer attended Old Dominion University from 1985 to 1989, where they studied Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
