Mo Dong has a diverse work experience spanning a decade. Mo started their career in 2009 as a Co-Founder of Tongqu, Inc. and a Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2012, they joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Research Assistant, where they worked on challenging problems in networking and systems. In 2013, they were a Member of Technical Staff Intern at Nicira. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Co-Founder and Engineering Team Lead and Product Manager at Veriflow. Mo led an all-PhD team that worked on highly scalable core Network Formal Verification algorithm design and distributed system infrastructures of the product. Mo also led early customer trials and deployments and played key roles in closing significant deals. In 2018, they became Co-Founder of Celer Network.
Mo Dong obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2008 and 2012. Mo then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2012 and 2017.
