Stuart Brorson

Stuart Brorson is a seasoned engineer and educator with extensive experience in electrical and electronics engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Product Engineer at Celera Motion since March 2018, Stuart leads the optical encoder group, focusing on product architecture and design. As a Professor of Practice at Northeastern University, Stuart teaches a two-term sequence in Numerical Analysis for Master’s students in the Math Department. In addition to these roles, Stuart operates as an independent consultant through Electroniscript, inc., specializing in electronic design, including PCB design and both analog and digital systems. Past roles include positions at MKS/Precisive Instruments as an Electrical Engineer, Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, and Interactive Supercomputing as a Senior Software Verification/Test Engineer, among others. Stuart holds a PhD and a combined Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
