Amy Polivka has a strong background in data management and clinical research. Amy started their career as a Certified Medical Assistant, assisting physicians with various procedures and providing patient care. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Patient Account Representative at Lincoln Physical Therapy Associates, where they handled patient accounts, assisted with billing and insurance inquiries, and balanced account receivables. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Patient Account Representative at Option Care, where they managed all patient accounts, filed insurance claims, and processed account receivables. In 2002, they joined Celerion as a Data Manager, responsible for the data management aspects of clinical studies and serving as a liaison between sponsors/clients and internal study teams. Throughout their time at Celerion, they have held various roles, including Senior Clinical Data Manager and Process and Standards Manager. In their current position as a Data Programmer II, they continue to contribute to data programming and management.
Amy Polivka attended Southeast Community College from 1987 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Medical Assisting.
