Andrew Stringer

Andrew Stringer SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew began their career in 1996 as a Corporate HR Manager at Utell International Ltd, where they provided HR support to line managers and managed the transition to a US-based company. During their time there, they successfully developed their team and implemented various HR initiatives such as a Grouped Personnel Pension Plan and an employee handbook.

In 1998, Andrew joined Pegasus Solutions as a Senior HR Manager and later took on roles as a Director and Vice President of Human Resources. Andrew led a global team of 24 HR professionals and oversaw HR functions for the company. Andrew successfully consolidated two site operations and merged two HR organizations. Additionally, they played a key role in implementing a SAP R/3 enterprise solution project.

Andrew then joined Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2012 as the Vice President of Human Resources. In this position, they led HR strategy and programs for over 250 employees and faculty, as well as 800 students across three global offices. Andrew also served as a Staff Officer to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. Notably, they directed and implemented two reductions in force in a six-month period without any employee claims.

In 2016, Andrew had a brief stint as the Interim Director of Human Resources at Brookline College before joining Celerion as the Senior Director and later the Executive Director of Global Human Resources. Their role at Celerion involved overseeing global HR operations and strategies.
