Claire Hoffman has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacokinetics and biological research. Claire currently holds the position of Pharmacokinetic Scientist I at Celerion, which they started in October 2021. Prior to that, Claire worked at The Ohio State University, where they held several roles. Claire started as a Graduate Research Associate in the Ohio State Biochemistry Program (OSBP) in May 2016 and worked until August 2017. From August 2017 to August 2019, they served as a Graduate Research Fellow in the Molecular Biophysics Training Program (MBTP). Claire then returned to the OSBP as a Graduate Research Associate in August 2019, where they conducted multidisciplinary research focused on the development of a small molecule, neurodegenerative disease-directed PET agent. Claire'sresponsibilities included synthesizing a small molecule library, testing it against disease aggregates, designing tritiation synthesis for radiolabeling, and investigating binding in human brain homogenates. Claire also worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at The Ohio State University from May 2021 until their current role at Celerion.
Claire Hoffman began their education at Col Crawford High School, where they completed their high school education from 2008 to 2012. Following their high school graduation, they attended Heidelberg University from 2012 to 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Claire then pursued further academic achievements and enrolled in The Ohio State University in 2016. Claire completed their doctoral studies in the Ohio State Biochemistry Program and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2021.
