John Horkulak

John Horkulak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. John is currently the Vice President of Corporate Development at Celerion, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Charité Research Organisation from June 2021 to January 2023.

John also has a history with Celerion, where they held several positions. From March 2020 to June 2021, they served as the Vice President of Strategic Relationships and Asia Pacific Affairs. Before that, from April 2019 to March 2020, they were the Vice President of Corporate Development. John also held the role of Executive Director of Corporate Development and Head of EU Business Development at Celerion from October 2013 to March 2019.

Before joining Celerion, John was the CEO of Arena Clinical GmbH from June 2006 to September 2013. John also served as the Vice President of Patient Pharmacology and Early Development Services at PRA International from September 2011 to January 2013. Additionally, they were the European General Manager at MedAvante GmbH from September 2010 to September 2011.

John's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President of Central and Eastern Europe at PRA International from November 2007 to December 2009. John also founded and served as the CEO of Pharmacon Research from 1992 to October 2007. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Client Relations at Parexel from August 1990 to July 1992.

John Horkulak completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in German Studies at the University of Birmingham from 1977 to 1981. Prior to attending university, they attended Bury Grammar School, although the specific dates and fields of study at the school are unknown.
