Nathan McCavery

Nathan McCavery has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nathan is currently working as the Senior Director of Business Development (Europe) at Celerion, a global leader in early clinical development. Nathan joined Celerion in 2019 as the Director of Business Development and was promoted to their current position in January 2022. In this role, Nathan is responsible for leading drug development programs and managing clinical operations.

Before joining Celerion, Nathan worked as the Director of Business Development (Europe) at InClinica, a preclinical and development consulting group. During their time there from 2017 to 2019, they focused on establishing InClinica's service offering in Northern Europe by building relationships with prospective clients.

Prior to InClinica, Nathan worked at BioKinetic Europe Ltd, where they started as a junior business development assistant and progressed to become the Commercial Manager over a period of 6 years. Their responsibilities included identifying and converting business opportunities, managing industry conference activities, and coordinating internal resources for budgeting and proposals.

Additionally, Nathan has prior experience in digital marketing and public relations. Nathan worked as a Digital Associate at Serious PR Ltd from 2014 to 2015 and as a Social Media Marketing Manager at Marx Communications from 2012 to 2015. Nathan also worked as a Junior Account Executive at Stripe Communications from 2010 to 2011.

Nathan's work experience also includes a role as a Public Relations Coordinator at the Taste of Edinburgh Festival in 2011.

Nathan McCavery completed their education with a MA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh. Nathan attended the university from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Methodist College Belfast from 2000 to 2007, where they obtained GCSEs and A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from Elite Training and Consultancy Ltd in June 2015.
