Sonia Duchemin

Sonia Duchemin PhD has a varied work experience in the field of research and clinical coordination. Most recently, they worked as a Pharmacokinetic Scientist at Celerion, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they served as an In-House Clinical Research Associate at ICON plc from December 2019 to November 2021. From March to December 2019, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator, specializing in regulatory affairs, at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre.

Before their industry roles, Sonia worked as a Freelance Scientific Editor/Translator from June 2017 to February 2019. Sonia also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Université de Montréal from September 2010 to May 2017. During their time at the university, they also served as a Teaching Assistant, assisting with grant and article writing, and acting as a reviewer for scientific journals.

Sonia's early experience includes an undergraduate internship at Université de Montréal in 2009. Overall, they have a diverse background in research, clinical coordination, editing/translating, and teaching/assisting in academia.

Sonia Duchemin, PhD has a strong background in academia and holds a PhD degree in Pharmacology from the Université de Montréal, which they earned between 2010 and 2017. Before pursuing their PhD, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Kinesiology at UQTR from 2007 to 2010.
