Ziv MacHnes

Ziv Machnes began their work experience in 2009 as a Postdoc Fellow at McGill University. Ziv then joined FroggaBio Inc. in 2011 as the Manager of the McGill University laboratory supplies biobar. In 2014, Ziv Machnes started working at Celerion, where they held various roles including Scientist I, Scientist II, and Senior Scientist. Their most recent role at Celerion began in 2020, and they are currently still employed at the company.

Ziv Machnes holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which was completed from 1992 to 1996. Following this, Ziv pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology at Bar-Ilan University, which was attained from 2001 to 2004. Subsequently, Ziv went on to complete a PhD in Molecular Biology at Bar-Ilan University from 2004 to 2009.
