Senior DevOps Engineer at Celero Commerce

Eric Grier has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and Cloud Engineering. Eric began their career at InComm in 2015 as a Systems Engineer, where they automated Oracle and RHEL 7 provisioning and utilized Ansible to configure and maintain RHEL servers. In 2019, they joined Jabil as an IT Software DevOps Specialist, responsible for building and supporting Azure DevOps Pipelines, HapProxy, RabbitMQ, and Azure IoTEdge for .NET core applications. Eric then moved on to Foot Locker in 2020, where they worked as a Cloud Engineer. At Foot Locker, they gained experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure. In 2021, Eric joined Sentara Healthcare as an AKS Infrastructure Engineer, deploying AKS clusters, updating AKS Terraform modules, and creating Bicep templates for resource deployment automation. Following their role at Sentara Healthcare, Eric worked at BlockSpaces in 2022 as a DevOps Engineer. Eric automated the deployment of Kubernetes clusters using Terraform in AWS and Digital Ocean, deployed applications to Kubernetes for scalability and high availability, and supported Ethereum-based chains. Currently, Eric is employed at Celero Commerce as a Senior DevOps Engineer, maintaining Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure DevOps Pipelines, and supporting the application team in improving their SDLC processes using Bicep Infrastructure as Code.

Eric Grier pursued their education at Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business from 2010 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Information Security and Assurance. In August 2021, they also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft.
