Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial technology and electronic payments industry. Kevin most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director at Celero Commerce since November 2018. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2019, they held the position of President and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Electronic Transactions Association, where they played a key role in influencing and shaping the merchant acquiring industry through education and advocacy.

In 2018, they worked as an Executive In Residence at LLR Equity Partners 5, L.P., where they collaborated with the team to acquire and build a leading integrated payments provider for targeted vertical markets. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Anovia Payments, a global financial technology company specializing in secure and simple payment solutions.

Before that, they were the President of SignaPay, an electronic payments company, from 2011 to 2013. During their tenure, they focused on empowering partners and employees, driving exponential growth, and overseeing various internal departments. Kevin also held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing at First American Payment Systems from 2007 to 2011, where they aimed to build value for partners through operational excellence and outstanding products and services.

Prior to these roles, Kevin Jones held senior leadership positions at Chase Paymentech, where they led nationwide sales and relationship management functions, and Central Carolina Bank, where they played a crucial role in building the retail group and pioneering innovative banking initiatives.

Kevin Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science/ Communications from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they attended from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in Advanced Management at the North Carolina School of Banking from 1996 to 1999.
