Dr. Ali Rezai is currently an advisor at Celero Systems. Ali was previously the Associate Dean of Neuroscience and Director & CEO of Ohio State University Neurological Institute from August 2009 to September 2017. Prior to that, they were an Attending Neurosurgeon at Bellevue Hospital Center from July 1998 to July 1998. Dr. Rezai has also served as the Director of Neurosurgery and Center for Functional and Restorative Neurosurgery at New York University-HJD from July 1998 to July 1998. Ali began their career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at New York University from July 1998 to July 1998. Dr. Rezai has also been an Attending Neurosurgeon at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital from July 1998 to July 1998.
Dr. Ali Rezai is a clinical fellow in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at the University of Toronto's Division of Neurosurgery. Ali has also been a clinical observer in functional neurosurgery at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. Dr. Rezai completed their residency in neurosurgery at the New York University Medical Center, where they also served as chief resident. Ali then went on to complete a fellowship at NYU Medical Center. Prior to their medical training, Dr. Rezai earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
