Chief Engineer, Valves at Celeros Flow Technology

Jay Faramarzi, M.Sc., P.E. has over 20 years of progressive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Their career began in 2000 at Control Components Inc., where they served as the Director of Operations and later as the Director of Global Engineering. During their time there, they integrated engineering teams from various subsidiaries and implemented uniform design standards and processes.

In 2003, Faramarzi became the Senior Director of Oil and Gas Product Development at Control Components Inc., where they led small development teams and achieved significant margin improvements through the production of Control Ball Valve and Wellhead Production Choke Valve.

Jay then joined Control Components Inc. / CCI in 2006, where they held various executive positions including VP of Technology & Product Development and SVP of Engineering. In these roles, they streamlined processes, reduced NPD cycles, and improved engineering performance and productivity. Jay also managed multi-location engineering groups and had a budget of $25 million per annum.

In 2012, Faramarzi joined IMI Critical Engineering as an SVP of Global Engineering, where they managed a central team of experts and directed global engineering resources. Jay also created the IMI Severe Service University and revamped the Valve Doctor Program.

Faramarzi served as the President of FECS Inc. in 2020, providing engineering services specializing in severe service applications in various industries.

More recently, they held positions as the GM & VP of Valve Engineering at Anvil - MegaWatt and the Global Product Director at Trillium Flow Technologies.

Currently, Faramarzi is the Chief Engineer, Valves at Celeros Flow Technology.

Jay Faramarzi holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Jay also earned an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
