Lawrence Chang

Lawrence Chang has extensive experience in the field of design verification. Lawrence currently holds the position of Director, Design Verification at Celestial AI, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, Lawrence worked at PETAiO as the Design Verification Manager from May 2017 to May 2023. Lawrence also served as a Deacon Board Member at Convergence House of Prayer from 2017 to 2021.

Lawrence has held several roles at various companies in the past. Lawrence worked at Micron Technology from July 2013 to May 2017 as a Principal Verification Engineer. Before that, they worked at LSI Corporation as a Principal Verification Engineer from 2012 to July 2013, and at SandForce as a Verification Engineer from November 2009 to July 2013. Lawrence also worked at Cortina Systems as a Verification Engineer from June 2005 to August 2009, and at Sun Microsystems as a Staff Engineer/Verification Manager from 2000 to 2005.

Lawrence Chang completed a Machine Learning course through Stanford Online/Coursera in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1994. Lawrence also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, which they earned from 1988 to 1992.
