Ashley Tovar, PhD, RD, is a seasoned research scientist with a robust background in metabolic science and nutritional biology. Experience includes roles at Gilead Sciences, where Ashley developed preclinical research on fibrosis and associated diseases, and led in vivo trials while enhancing research practices. At Loyal, Ashley progressed from Scientist to Senior Scientist in metabolic science, contributing to various research studies and large-scale health assessments. Additional experience includes doctoral research at the University of California, Davis, focusing on time-restricted feeding’s effects on metabolism, and work at the University of California, Berkeley, studying mitochondrial aging.
