Laura Vasquez-Bolanos has a diverse work experience. Laura is currently working as a Drug Development Operations and Engineering Manager and a Drug Development Consultant for Loyal / Cellular Longevity since 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they were a PhD Candidate in Professor Sam Ward's lab at UC San Diego, researching time-series transcriptomics of rotator cuff disease. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Professor Robert Sah's Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering and Drug Delivery lab at the University of California San Diego. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Professor Christopher Hernandez's Biomechanics Lab at Cornell University, aiding graduate students Jason Guss and Marysol Luna. Laura also worked as a Program Assistant at Cornell University from 2015 to 2017.

Laura Vasquez-Bolanos attended Tuscarora High School from 2011 to 2015. Laura then went on to receive a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cornell University between 2015 and 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Bioengineering at UC San Diego.
