Celia Bookshop is a new, women-owned, independent bookstore opening in the heart of Swarthmore in 2025. Located in a former cobbler’s shop, the store’s handpicked collection of books includes new titles, classics, best sellers, beautifully made small-press volumes, memoirs, nature writing, and an expansive children’s section. We’ll host an eclectic mix of literary events, informal conversations, and book-centered social gatherings where people who love books can find new stories, explore ideas, and connect with each other.
