Luis Carbonell

VP of Strategy & Innovation at Cell-Ed

Luis Carbonell has diverse work experience in various leadership roles and as a founder. In 2012, they started working at Pinch A Penny, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, creating financial reporting software and web applications. In 2016, they founded Pixleus and served as the Chief Information Officer at Sunlux Shop, where they developed internal systems to manage data and specialized in omni-channel lead generation. In 2018, they founded Liquid Carrot, where they served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer. In 2019, they started Carbonell LLC, where they served as the Chairman. In 2020, they founded Guajiros and became the Founder and CEO. Later in the same year, they joined Cell-Ed as the VP of Strategy & Innovation. In 2021, they became the CTO & CPO at LifePath.

Luis Carbonell began their education in 2010 at the TERRA Environmental Research Institute, where they pursued a high school education with a concentration in Robotics. Luis attended TERRA from 2010 to 2012. Following their time at TERRA, Carbonell enrolled at the School for Advanced Studies from 2012 to 2014, where they completed their high school education with a concentration in Software Engineering. Concurrently, from 2012 to 2014, they also attended Miami Dade College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. Lastly, from 2014 to 2015, Carbonell attended the Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
