Stephen Carmichael is a Senior Controls Engineer II at Cellares, where they design, program, and maintain PLC logic for various cell therapy manufacturing products. With previous roles as an Automation Controls Engineer and Technical Project Manager, they have worked on projects involving diverse control systems, including those for hydroponic greenhouses and industrial automation. Stephen has accumulated a wealth of experience in controls engineering, mechanical design, and programming across North America and South America. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, recognized on the Dean's Honours List.
