Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar has extensive experience in the field of neuroscience and psychiatry. Vinod is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer and Executive VP at Cellastra, Inc. Since 2017, they have also held the position of President and CEO at Neuropharma Consulting. Prior to these roles, Vinod worked at Novartis for over 16 years, where they held various positions in the Development and Medical Affairs departments, with a focus on psychiatric and neurological disorders. In addition, they have held academic positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Miami, and the SIU School of Medicine, where they served as a professor and conducted research on Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders. Vinod has been actively involved in numerous studies and research initiatives and has been recognized for their expertise in geriatric psychiatry.

Vinod Kumar pursued their education in various universities including Birmingham University, Leicester University, and UCLA. During this time, they completed a Residency in Psychiatry and acquired a degree in DPM (Doctorate in Psychiatric Medicine) and MRCPsych (Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists). Their field of study focused on Residency in Psychiatry, as well as a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology.
