Mathias Svahn

Mathias Svahn is the CEO of NextCell Pharma AB and has been in this role since 2015. They also hold the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at QVance and Cellaviva, demonstrating a strong leadership presence in the biotechnology sector. With extensive experience as a Country Medical Manager at Roche and a Scientific Manager at Karolinska Institutet, Mathias has contributed to significant advancements in molecular cell biology and gene therapy. They earned multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology and Gene Therapy from Karolinska Institutet, and a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from Uppsala University. Mathias is actively involved in fostering innovation and management in the life sciences field.
