Okan KARA

Okan KARA, PhD, is a venture capitalist and co-founder of ACT Venture Partners, where they specialize in early-stage European technology ventures and serve on the boards of several start-ups. Previously, Okan managed the EEMEA operations of Pera, a UK-based advisory firm, and led the EUREKA Network based in Brussels. They coordinated the national office of EU programs at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and began their career as an analyst in the telecom sector at Telsim. Okan holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, as well as M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Science and Technology Policy, along with an MBA specializing in Data Science.
