Simon MacKenzie is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Chairman at Cytochroma, MacKenzie oversees the development of innovative iPSC-derived cellular models for therapeutic assessments. Additional roles include mentoring start-ups at Future Worlds and previously holding CEO positions at REGENHU US INC and REGENHU, specializing in 3D bioprinting technology for regenerative medicine. MacKenzie co-founded Urbanito Guides Limited and contributed to Censo Biotechnologies as Chief Business Officer, enhancing drug discovery services. Previous consultancy roles include business development initiatives at Stratified Medicine Scotland Innovation Centre, and strategic guidance through S-M Consult Ltd. Simon MacKenzie holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee.
