Kris Frese has extensive work experience in cancer research. They currently hold the position of Director of Cancer Biology at CellCentric since 2022. Previously, they worked at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, where they were an Associate Scientist leading the Preclinical Pharmacology Team from 2015 to 2022. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ontario Cancer Institute from 2013 to 2015. They also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute from 2006 to 2012, where they focused on studying pancreatic cancer using genetically engineered mouse models.
Kris Frese began their education at Michigan State University in 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General. They completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Following this, Kris went on to join Baylor College of Medicine in 1998 and remained there until 2004. During this time, they specialized in Molecular Virology and Microbiology, ultimately earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
