Sofia Paul

Sofia Paul is a seasoned biostatistics professional with extensive experience in leading statistical and programming functions across prominent pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as Vice President and head of statistics, programming, and data management at CellCentric since March 2025, Sofia previously held the position of Vice President and head of Biostatistics and Programming at Syros Pharmaceuticals from December 2021 to April 2025. Prior roles include Senior Director of Biostatistics at GSK from July 2018 to December 2021, and various positions at Novartis, including Senior Director and Director of Biostatistics from 2006 to 2018. Sofia began a career at Eli Lilly and Company as a Principal Research Scientist from 1996 to 2006. Sofia earned a PhD in Statistics from the University of Florida, completing the degree between 1989 and 1996.
