Dan Embury

Dan Embury has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dan began their career as a Hardware Design Engineer at MOSAID Technologies Inc. in 1997 and worked there until 2003. Dan then joined Kaytronics Inc. as a Technical Sales Representative from 2003 to 2004. Dan then moved on to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where they served as a Forensic Hardware Engineer and R&D Team Leader from 2004 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Cellebrite as a Technical Director and held that position until 2021. From 2021 to 2024, Dan transitioned into the role of Director of Technical & Services Development. Currently, they are the Director of Product Management at Cellebrite.

Dan Embury obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Dan has also obtained several certifications, including Pragmatic Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Institute in 2024, CipherTrace Certified Examiner (CTCE) from CipherTrace in 2020, and CCME, CCPA, and CCLO from Cellebrite in 2015.
