Petronela Gotcu

Petronela Gotcu is the Head of Cell Development at CELLFORCE GROUP, where they lead efforts in researching and developing materials for energy applications. Previously, Petronela worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, focusing on the thermophysical and electrochemical properties of lithium-ion batteries. They earned a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science from Delft University of Technology, where they also conducted research as a PhD Researcher. Petronela's early career included research fellow positions at the European Commission and CEA, specializing in mass spectrometry and thermodynamics. With over ten years of experience in R&D, they have contributed significantly to advancing energy storage technologies.
