Nicky Caiazza

Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cellibre

Nicky Caiazza has a diverse work experience in the scientific and engineering fields. In 2005, they worked as an HHMI Postdoc at the California Institute of Technology. They then joined Mascoma Corporation in 2006 as a Senior Research Scientist and remained in this role until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they held the position of Principal Scientist at Synthetic Genomics. Later, at Synthetic Genomics, they took on the role of Director of Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Nicky Caiazza is the Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cellibre, starting in 2019.

From 1999 to 2005, Nicky Caiazza attended the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2006, they pursued a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at Dartmouth College.
