Randor Radakovits has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Randor is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at Cellibre since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Synthetic Genomics for almost a decade, holding various roles such as Senior Scientist II, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II. During their time at Synthetic Genomics, they managed research teams, developed genetic engineering techniques, and generated patents for the production of omega-3 fatty acid and biofuel. Before joining Synthetic Genomics, Radakovits worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Colorado School of Mines and as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Randor completed their PhD at The Scripps Research Institute.
Randor Radakovits earned a Ph.D in Molecular Biology from Scripps Research, completing the program from 2003 to 2008. Before that, they pursued a Master of Science degree at Imperial College from 2000 to 2001, specializing in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Biochemistry. Additionally, Randor obtained a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Stockholm University in 2001.
Randor also holds several additional certifications, including "The R Programming Environment" which was obtained in November 2018, and completed the "Advanced Course Microbial Physiology and Fermentation Technology" at BioTech Delft. Furthermore, Randor participated in the "BEDC Supervisor Development Academy" offered by OEC Strategies Solutions.
