Rahul Roy

Director of Product Development at Cellink

Rahul Roy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rahul is currently the Director of Product Development at CELLINK since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Desktop Health as the Director of Global Product Development from January to June 2022.

Rahul also has experience at CELLINK, where they served as a Product Owner/Manager from July 2019 to January 2022, and as a Lead Technical Specialist/Applications Engineer from June 2018 to July 2019.

Before joining CELLINK, Rahul worked at EnvisionTEC as a Service and Application Engineer from January 2015 to May 2018. During this time, they showcased the capabilities of the 3D-Bioplotter, provided technical sales support, and developed a support case categorization system.

Rahul also has experience as a Maker Annex Developer at the Children's Museum of Houston, an Assistant Teacher at the Schlumberger Summer Design Academy, a Research Assistant at the Robinson Lab, and a Job Shadow at Scott Sabolich Prosthetics and Research.

Rahul started their career as a Camp Counselor at St. Mark's School of Texas and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, working with Dr. Brandi Schottel within the Sherry Group. Overall, Rahul has a strong background in product development, technical support, and research.

Rahul Roy obtained their High School Diploma from St. Mark's School of Texas from the year 2004 to 2010. Rahul subsequently pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rice University, attending from 2010 to 2014.
