Jonny Handler

Jonny Handler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonny is currently working as a Commodity Trader at CellMark since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GFL Environmental Inc. from January 2020 to December 2021 in Sales and Marketing.

Before their role at GFL Environmental Inc., Jonny worked at Canada Fibers Ltd for almost a decade, from July 2012 to December 2021, in Business Development. Canada Fibers Ltd is one of North America's largest independent full-service material recycling/recovery companies, offering a wide range of services.

Jonny also has experience in the non-profit sector. Jonny worked at Camp Oochigeas as a Young Adult and Leadership Program Specialist from December 2009 to July 2012. In this role, they created and implemented teen and leadership programs for campers, including service initiatives, skill-building workshops, and mentor-based programs.

Furthermore, Jonny has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/Operator of Evergreen Adventures. Jonny oversaw all aspects of the organization, including sales, marketing, finances, program logistics, and staff recruitment and training. Jonny worked at Evergreen Adventures from January 2006 to November 2009, collaborating with Outdoor Ed on various projects.

Jonny Handler completed their Bachelors degree in Political Science from Dalhousie University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Degree in International Marketing at Humber College, from 2004 to 2005.
