Ying C. has an extensive work experience in the field of research and development. In 2021, they became the Founder of Acrocyte Therapeutics and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the National Laboratory Animal Center, National Applied Research Laboratories. Ying has also been an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University since 2016, a Research Fellow at the Genomics Research Center, Academia Sinica since 2011, an Adjunct Professor at National Yang Ming University since 2011, a Co-Founder at CellMax Life since 2011, an Adjunct Professor at the National Defense Medical College, Taiwan since 2011, a Consulting Professor at Stanford University since 2014, a Visiting Professor at Stanford University since 2012, and a Scientist at PARC since 2004.

Ying C. attended Taipei First Girls High School before obtaining a BS in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1990. Ying then went on to earn a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the same university in 1992. Finally, Ying C. completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in 1998.
