David Ferrick

Ferrick is a biotechnology executive focused on life sciences tools, drug discovery, and strategic partnerships in immunology, cancer, neurological diseases, and cell and gene therapy. They currently serve as Chief Executive Officer of Cellsonics Inc. (2024–Present) and as President of Ferrick Enterprises LLC (2023–Present). Their past leadership includes Chief Scientific Officer at Seahorse Bioscience (2005–2015), Chief Scientific Officer at Axion BioSystems (2022–2023), founder and CEO of Sagres Discovery (1999–2003), Vice President of Biology & Clinical Applications at Guava Technologies (2003–2005), and roles at Rigel Pharmaceuticals (Director, Molecular and Cellular Biology, 1997–1999) and Agilent Technologies (Senior Director Marketing and Applications, 2015–2018; Associate Vice President New Market Development). They earned a PhD in Immunology from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology at the University of Toronto, and earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Florida.
