Joanie Lessard

Joanie Lessard is a skilled chemist with extensive experience in process analysis and product evaluation in the chemical and biomaterials sectors. Currently serving as a Plant Chemist at CelluForce since February 2019, Joanie focuses on process and final product analysis, along with the creation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs). Previous roles include a Chemist at CRB Innovations Inc., where analytical support and process chemistry were primary responsibilities, and a Master student at CRIEC-B, where Joanie conducted research on cellulose depolymerization processes. Joanie has also held internships involving waste valorization, bioethanol synthesis, and various analytical techniques at organizations such as Enerkem and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Université de Sherbrooke, complemented by additional studies in chemistry.
