Eric Jackson

President at Cellula Robotics Ltd.

Eric Jackson has extensive work experience in the robotics and control systems industry. Eric started their career in 1978 at International Submarine Engineering, where they served as the Manager of Robotics & Controls for over 20 years. In this role, they managed the development of robotics and control systems for various projects, including ROVs, AUVs, manipulators, and terrestrial robotics. Eric also managed projects for the Canadian Space Agency.

In 2001, Eric became the President of Cellula Robotics Ltd. and held this position until 2005. Eric then took on the role of Project Manager Consultant at Placer Dome from 2001 to 2005.

In 2007, Eric returned to Cellula Robotics Ltd. as President, and they still hold this position.

In 2010, they joined Deep Reach Technology Inc. as Principal. Eric served in this role until 2016.

Eric Jackson earned a B.Ap.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 1974 to 1978. Eric then pursued further education at the University of Victoria from 1989 to 1991, earning an M.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics. Additionally, Eric received a certification as a Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia from APEGBC in 1981.
