Ben Sang

Ben Sang has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Principal Data Engineer at Cellulant in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at the same company from June 2022 to December 2022, where they were responsible for integrating new data sources, developing data models, ETL data mappings, and schedules, maintaining data reliability and quality, and administering the Oracle BI and ODI repositories, among other tasks.

Before joining Cellulant, Ben served as a Data Warehouse Administrator at Kenya Revenue Authority from March 2013 to June 2022. Ben also worked at IBM as a System Support Engineer from May 2012 to February 2013 and at Turnkey Africa Ltd as a Software Developer from January 2011 to February 2012.

Ben Sang earned a BSc in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a KCSE Certificate from Starehe Boys' Centre between 2002 and 2005. In addition to their degree, Ben has obtained various certifications in areas such as Oracle, PRINCE2, Informatica, and ITIL.
